Dentist

Eva had her first visit to the dentist today. They didn't have to actually clean her teeth, just counted them and got her used to the instruments and chair. She was very well behaved; must be like Mommy- loves going to the dentist!

Daddy's New Tattoo

Jason and I have both had tattoo fever for awhile now... so I'm amazed we made it this long (5+ years) without any new ink. 

That all changed today when Jason got a tattoo in honor of Eva.  It is on his chest, has Eva's name and then the song line, "I don't need no one to tell me 'bout Heaven, I look at my daughter and I believe."  [Note: we realize it is not grammatically correct]

Here are some photos from the tattoo parlor (Forever Yours in Anoka), the tat itself and some shots of Eva falling asleep in his arms a few days ago.  I love him just a little but more every time I watch them together...

So I lied.  I do have a few photos for today.

Logged in today and checked the "views ticker" and our blog has now received over 1,000 views!  Pretty good numbers since it only has 4 listed followers.

Eva must have more adoring fans than we originally thought :-)

So, even though I don't have any photos to upload today, I have a little glimpse into Mommy's life with the Eva & Daddy Duo in it.

Eva and I went to the gym this morning for my kettle bell class then grabbed some Chipotle for lunch.  When we got home, it was time for nap (and Daddy was still sleeping) so we crawled in bed together and Eva snuggled up to Jason.  They were laying right up against each other, back-to-back and Jason farted on Eva.  Eva thought this was hilarious and, after she quit laughing, focused really hard and... farted right back on him.  Fast forward 2 hours later and I'm waking up from my nap (yes, I take 2 hours naps, they're glorious!) and I come downstairs to find Eva in just her pull-up, sweating from dancing so hard to New Kids On The Block music videos with Daddy.

This is my life, flatulence and all, and I love it.

Our Rockstar

Eva is a singer.  And a dancer.  And an all-around DIVA.

She is constantly making up new songs; as in totally new harmonies with words and everything.  She will sing sentences more often then she speaks.  Yesterday it was, "Mooooommy I need miiiiilk."  Today it was, "I love myyyyy Daddddy."  Tomorrow, who knows!  Best part is, she's actually good.  She can hold a tune and repeat anything that we sing to her.  She also loves to dance.  We are currently working on the "stanky leg" move... youtube it if you want to know more :-)

She has a little Sesame Street sing along toy- thank you Grammie for your awesome garage sale skills- and it has a microphone on it.  Most parents might dread this- like how I dread the 2 (yes 2!) vacuum "popper" toys that Eva uses to torment me daily- but I love it.  Sing away little Eva... make it big so Mommy & Daddy don't have to work. 

Oh and the PJ close up shots are because, well, she's awesome like Mom. Duh.
