Day at the NEW Park #2

As long as the weather is nice I'm betting the park is going to be a daily occurrence for us, I promise I won't over do the photos but... it is the blog's namesake after all :-)

Eva's fellow tow-headed toddler turned 2 today in a modern day Minnie Mouse themed party.  The weather was gorgeous and the kids were surprisingly well behaved... I think LaRae slipped something in their milk but you won't hear me complain! ha

Walking in with gift... she looks so SATC!

Day at the NEW Park

Like I said in my previous post, we now have a city park right out our front door.  And it's tucked back away in our neighborhood so it's almost like our little secret, Eva calls it "my park."

Took Eva about 3 seconds to make a new friend

Took this photo standing in the park and that house, right there, is ours!

We're Baaaaack- Part Deux!

Oh how we've missed you all.  I haven't blogged in weeks and I'm so sorry.  But I have a very good excuse; we moved!  After two years in Ramsey we moved back down to Champlin for a number of reasons.  Our landlord was raising our rent in Ramsey and we just didn't really need so much space.  So now we're in a smaller, less expensive yet nicer place that is closer to just about everything: Eva's schools, my day job and my weekend waitressing job, church, Eva's gymnastics and dance schools, the library, Baba's house, all of the grocery stores/restaurants/shops we go to... everything except Jason's work but he drives the opposite direction of traffic so it's okay.  Best part?  We are now within the delivery range of Pizza Hut, Broadway Pizza, Sarpino's, Papa John's, Chanticlear and Dominos pizza- Jason is in Heaven :-)

Other awesome facts about our new place is it's a side by side duplex (vs a row townhouse) and we're on the end of a double cul de sac so we have no neighbors, or even houses, to one side of us and we can throw a rock to the city park from our front door!  Okay so maybe I couldn't, but Jason literally could.

We're still living out of boxes so I won't post too many photos until we're more settled but know that we are happy and I promise to get back to blogging all the time :-)

Dead end + neighborhood watch means don't come creepin in my hood hommie!

Made sure to get the TV set up asap so Eva could be occupied while we moved everything lol
Add yet, all she wanted to do was play with dolls :-)

Happy 4th of July!

Hello everyone!  So sorry I haven't posted in awhile but we've been super busy.  News from the Parks household is that we are moving in two weeks.  We are moving back down to Champlin to save tons on rent for the next year and then we'll look to buy next summer; the Twin Cities housing market it supposed to drop for at least another year.  So we've been busy packing and lining up moving services like a U-Haul and carpet cleaners.  I detest moving for a lot of reasons but I think we've found a great place and while I'm sad to leave our place now, I always knew it wasn't permanent.

This weekend Eva and I went up north to Baba's camper while poor Daddy stayed home and worked long hours.  Being the boss at the golf course now is great but very demanding.  I continue to be amazed by the things Jason accomplishes in his career!

So here are the photos from the weekend, you'll notice Eva's hair becoming more blonde and her cheeks becoming more red as the weekend goes on :-)
