Gymnastics!

Eva started gymnastics classes tonight!  We had a rough time leading up to it though.  I took Eva for a walk when we got home from school and towards the end she fell and scraped her knee.  You would think that we were going to have to amputate her leg from how she cried and carried on.  She was being so dramatic that she couldn't (wouldn't) walk on her leg and said she didn't want to go to her class.  So, we put a band aid on her knee and rested on the couch.

Well, of course, right around the time when we should have been arriving at the class, she decides she wants to go and when I tried to say it was too late, the waterworks came again!  So we went, and it actually worked out well because it was a lot to take in at first.  There were lots of kids and stations (beam, trampoline etc) but the 5 and 6 year old girls took Eva under their wings and she was loving it in no time.  She was a natural and I can't wait for her to start dance classes as well after the 4th of July.

Daddy carrying her in to speed things up

It's hard to see but the teacher is giving her a big thumbs up as she landed a perfect safety landing on her first try!
See photo below for example :-)

Mid air on a seat jump

As always, she was the tiniest one in the room but that's good for gymnasts, right?
